Hardcover is bound in brown cloth with the title stamped in black ink on the front cover along with the Michigan State Seal. All is repeated on the spine. Covers are in excellent like new condition.

Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 129 pages with detailed roster.

Binding is excellent and the interior is exceptionally clean.

The 7th Michigan was organized in Monroe on August 22, 1861 and served with the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Potomac. They saw action in all the major campaigns of that army suffering heavily at Fair Oaks, Antietam, Gettysburg and the Wilderness.  [AD] [PH:L]
