Hard Bound. Rebound nicely. Has had some use. Front cover features Ordnance Department logo in gold. Inside front cover has previous owner’s name written and stamped. Text pages are evenly toned and all illustrated plates remain; 559 pages, 33 plates.
This is the third edition of 1862. Everything you might want to know about U.S. military ordnance and artillery operations. Very technical with weights, sizes, ranges, etc. for all types of small arms and ordnance. Filled with tables, drawings, etc. If you were an officer, this was a “must have.” [jet] [ph:L]
