The biographical sketches collected here tell the stories of the 58 officers commissioned in the Confederate States Marine Corps. Black and white historical photos are included. Privately printed in 1973, this is the 1983 edition, revised and updated by editor Sullivan, author and editor of books and articles on military history and member of the editorial advisory board for the Journal of Confederate History.
