This is a nice example of a very scarce book in its original, 1896 printing.  The book is covered in green fabric with embossed cover designs and gold-filled text along the spine. The corners of each board shows mild rounding and the covering fabric is worn along the folding areas and small areas along the edges.  All pages are crisp with sharp edges and no overt foxing.  Overall measurements are 6.6” x 9”.

A very rare and worthy addition to any rare Civil War book collection.   [cm] [ph:L]
