Written by Major and Surgeon William Child and copyrighted in 1893, this scarcely seen title includes illustrations and a comprehensive history of the venerable 5th. The cover is a muted green cloth, accented with gold text and trim, and an adhered red 2nd Corps badge on the front cover.
All pages and illustrations are complete and in excellent condition. Some very light wear of the cloth covering is noted along the lower board edges, corners, and spine but overall condition is very good. Dimensions are 6.25” x 9.1”.
The ideal piece for the collector of period Civil War books or first edition regimental histories. [cm][ph:L]
