This small pamphlet was printed on a 5.5” x 8” sheet of paper and folded into quarters – with each quarter offering information like hospital locations, sites of interest, military office locations, transportation schedules, and various instructions for soldiers in the area. It was published for complimentary distribution to US soldiers arriving – or newly arrived – in Philadelphia during the Civil War.
The piece is in good condition, with only very minor wear at the bottom edge of the center fold. All text is clear and the integrity of the paper is excellent.
A neat and rare little remnant of the Civil War soldiering experience. [cm][ph:L]
