This booklet, printed at the Sentinel Office in Richmond in 1863, provides a comprehensive record of important communications between British consuls/representatives living in the Confederate States and CS officials.
Book measures 5.3” x 8.4” and features a US War Department archival stamp and upper center. The front cover is nearly loose, but mostly complete. Some chipping of the front and reverse cover is noted. Pages are in good condition with minimal wear and a second US War Department archival stamp is present on the title page.
A rare and interesting relic of the Confederate government’s foreign relations for the Civil War ephemera collector or primary information enthusiast. [cm][ph:L]
