Measuring about 5-5/8” in diameter, this glass bowl has a clear pontil mark on the bottom, a well-defined rim, and band around the upper edge that has a visually pleasing, slight unevenness to it that adds to its clearly early date. This would be a nice addition to a collection of early glass or display of a period genteel table setting. The condition is excellent. There is a small, black ink inventory/collection number on the rim that could be left as is or removed. We kind of like it as is. [sr][ph:m]
