A pristine hollow-stem wine glass 6-7/8” tall, dating about 1740. A visually pleasing, delicate and skilled bit of glassmaking with part of the stem hollow and showing the form of an interior elongated bubble.  No chips or cracks. A small collection or inventory number in black ink on a clear underlay that can be removed. This would fit a Colonial display, civilian or military, showing well with an officer’s mess chest, travelling liquor/wine chest or gentleman’s small sword or flintlock pocket pistol.
