This pitcher is free blown lead glass pitcher with an open pontil 6 1/2" tall.  The body of this pitcher was blown in an apothecary jar mold with the neck and lip being tooled outside of the mold.  There is a small 1/4" spider crack on the front near the shoulder break.  This is an unusual form and something for a collector of apothecary or blown storage jars.  American, probably Pittsburgh 1830-1850.  [lj][ph:m]
