Covered bowl or butter dish, lead glass, possibly French 1830-1850. The lower bowl is cut with 13 flutes, the original cover is cut with 10 flutes. The cut hexagonal finial on the cover has a large shallow flake on the underside of one side. The round, solid foot has a polished pontil. The bowl with cover stands 7 1/2" tall. [LJ] [ph:L]
