This late 19th century American kerosene lamp is pressed in a column with afan pattern. This small lamp (10 1/2" tall), does not take up much space and would have been used on a desk or night stand. It is all original. The burner was made by the Scovill Manufacturing Co. in Waterbury, CT. The wick advancing wheel is marked "Scovill Mfg Co. Made in USA." The glass chimney appears to be original as well. There is a closed but still sharp pontil scar on the bottom. [lj/ld][ph:L]
