This medium size compote is 8” tall and rests on a molded and cut square foot with a polished pontil. The body is cut with a central band of large strawberry diamonds. Above it is a band of thin, finger flutes, and at the bottom is a band of wide panel flutes. The glass has a distinctive gray tint that is frequently encountered on Anglo-Irish glass from this period. Weight: 6 lbs. 5 oz. [ld/lj][ph:L]
