One-piece Republica Mexicana coat button. These early buttons feature raised text "REPUBLICA MEXICANA" surrounding the Mexican eagle crest. These are associated with the early Mexican Republic, including the period around 1824-1830.
Brass button with the stand-up shank intact! This example has a French back mark, "M&P / LYON" with wreath and starburst. Measures: 27mm. Lightly tarnished on face. [jet] [ph:L]
