State of South Carolina 20 cents note dated February 1, 1863. We have a three of these in stock in varying condition.
The notes are printed on cream colored paper with a Palmetto tree at center, and a pair of “25”s and “TWENTY-FIVE CENTS” in blue ink; on the reverse in red ink is a large “Twenty-five” and “Issued under Act Feb. 1863”. [ld] [ph:L]
