White bill with black printing issued by the City of Portsmouth and dated October 29, 1862. The note is decorated with a numeral “15” at top center.
Reverse is blank.
Bill is in good used but tired condition with no major tears but it does have several scattered pinholes and some edge wear including a small chip at top right. Inked bill number is faint but signatures are good. Moderate to light surface dirt. [ad][ph:L]
