Dated at Nashville June 1st, 1861, this bond which measures 18 inches by 16 inches is signed twice by Governor Isham G. Harris. Harris was very active as a Confederate Volunteer officer and General Albert Sydney Johnston died in his arms at Shiloh. It has 15 unclipped coupons. The last of these maturing June 1871!
