This Bond is authorized by Act of Congress CSA on the 16th of May 1861, printed on white paper. The total number of Bonds issued were 772. This Bond is numbered 254 and was issued on the 1st of January 1862. There are also fourteen coupons intact. It is imprinted by “Hoyer & Ludwig Richmond VA.” This is a type 15 in the book CS Bonds by “Douglas B. Ball Ph. D.” [ws]  [ph:L]
