Paper note measures 7” x 3”. Black print overall with green “ONE” in background. Oval with steam engine image at top, center. Back displays fine green print and image.
Numbered and signed in ink. Dated November 4, 1861. Centered well, several small chips around edges, one horizontal split which was repaired with glue with minor overlap. Displays fine.
Used as an illustration on page 204 of “Confederate Arsenals, Laboratories, and Ordnance Depots” by Dean Thomas.
