An original piece of early Pennsylvania currency, being a $5 note dated 1 November, 1845. The bill features a scene of livestock in the top, center. Other oval portraits on edges.
Engraved and printed by Draper, Toppen, Longacre & Co. Serial number in red ink, 11529. The printing is clear and the contrast good. Two or three pin holes, light wrinkling. Centered well with complete frame. [jet][ph:L]
