An original piece of Southern money, being the $5 bill featuring workmen and other portraits.
Dated in ink. Plate letter, B. Serial number in ink, 1299. This note has “V 5 V” printed in orange at bottom on the front and “Bank of Tennessee” with several “5”s on back. The printing is clear and the contrast good. A few pin holes, some wrinkling, light soiling. Center with nearly complete frame. A nice Southern bill. [jet][ph:L]
