An original piece of Confederate money, being the $2 CSA T-70 bill featuring a large “2” in the center and a portrait of CSA cabinet member, Judith Benjamin, on the bottom right.
Engraved and printed by Keatinge & Ball. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter, G. Serial number in ink, 103583. This note has a fine pink shade remaining on the front and blank back. The printing is clear and the contrast good. No pin holes, no wrinkling. Off center with nearly complete frame. A typical Confederate bill. [jet][ph:L]
