An original piece of Southern money, being the $10 bill featuring sailing ships in the center and a woman carrying grain over her shoulder at lower left.
Dated in ink January 1, 1859. Plate letter, B. Serial number in ink, 133. This note has “TEN” printed in red at bottom on the front and a blank back. The printing is clear and the contrast good. No pin holes, some wrinkling. Center with complete frame. A nice Southern bill. [jet][ph:L]
