An original piece of Confederate money, being the $500 CSA T-64 bill featuring at left, the Confederate flag flying behind the statue of George Washington in Richmond. At right, a memorial portrait of Stonewall Jackson.

Engraved and printed by Keatinge & Ball. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter, D.  Printed serial number, 26528. This note has faint pink shade remaining on the front and blank back. The printing is clear and the contrast good. A couple of pin holes, light wrinkling, lightly soiled. A typical Confederate 1864 bill.    [jet][ph:L]
