An original piece of Confederate money, being the $20 CSA T-51 bill featuring the Tennessee State Capitol building in Nashville in main vignette. Confederate Vice President Alexander Stephens is pictured on the bottom right.

Dated April 6, 1863. Plate B, series 2. Serial number 39079 in red ink. Signed in brown ink. “JULY, 1863” stamped in red. A large blue graphic on back featuring “XX” in center with “20” on each side. The printing is clear and the contrast very good. Two pin holes, no wrinkling. Centered well, trimmed very tight.

A fine Confederate 1863 bill.    [jet][ph:L]
