An original piece of Confederate money, being the $10 CSA T-59 bill featuring the South Carolina State Capitol building in Columbia and Secretary of State R.M.T. Hunter on the right.
Dated April 6, 1863. Plate A. Serial number 36808 in faded brown ink. Signed in brown ink. “FEBRUARY, 1864” stamped in red.
A large blue graphic on back featuring ten “X” in the shape of a larger “X” in center with “TEN DOLLARS” above and below. The printing is clear and the contrast very good. A few pin holes. Centered well with tight crop on left and bottom.
