Issued at Richmond Virginia, engraved in Columbia South Carolina, printed in Charleston South Carolina, and featuring the CSA Secretary of War, R.M.T. Hunter! The central vignette which is 3.5" wide shows a team of four horses pulling a cannon and its crew into battle, which can be seen raging in the background!
This is the 1864 issue with pink front and blue reverse. Hand signed and numbered (12176) in ink. No pin holes, light wrinkling, just slightly off center. [jet][ph:L]
