An original piece of Confederate money, being the $5 CSA T-69 bill featuring the State Capitol building in Richmond in the center of the bill, and Confederate Secretary of the Treasury, C.G. Memminger in lower, right corner. Engraved and printed by Keatinge & Ball of Columbia, SC. Dated February 17th 1864. Plate letter, C. Hand serial numbered, 91354.
This note has good pink shade remaining on the front and nice blue on the back. The printing is clear and the contrast good. A few small pin holes, not framed well, cropped tight on left edge. A typical Confederate bill.
