The Confederate T-51 note is a $20 banknote issued by the Confederate States of America during the Civil War.
This printing was authorized under the Act of October 13, 1862, and dated December 2, 1862. The central image is the Tennessee State Capitol building located in Nashville. At the lower-right corner is a portrait depicting Alexander H. Stephens, the Vice President of the Confederacy. Engraved and printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, South Carolina. Signed in brown ink and numbered in (faded) red ink. This note as a "blue back," featuring elaborate blue geometric designs and text displaying the denomination.
Condition is very nice, and the note is centered well. There are numerous (20+) small pin holes scattered overall which are not visible unless you hole the note up to the light. [jet][ph:L]
