Ingraham, Colonel and Provost Marshal General, Defences North of Potomac.

Bold type. Measures 8” x 10”. Written in ink at left below order is name of Capt. Henry C. Inwood, Provost Marshal & Pass Officer, recipient of order. Issued at a time when perhaps there was too much celebration occurring among the remaining troops.  [ss]
