George A. Haight, age 20, enlisted August 2, 1862 at Elba, New York, , mustering as Private, Co. “H”, 129th New York (redesignated 8th New York in October 1862. Promoted to musician, Haight drowned January 12, 1864 near Ft. McHenry.  In protective sleeve. [JP] [ph:L]
