Period engraving features Lee in frontal pose standing beside Jackson’s. Lower margin quote: “Here sleeps the bravest champion of them all /And e’en admiring foes lament his fall.”
Frame and wooden backing exhibit slight wear. Engraving captions somewhat faded. The figure of Lee and in the somber cemetery setting is quite impressive. And attractive and solid Robt. E. Lee collectible. [JP] [ph:L]
