Served on Gen. McClellan's staff. Accompanied by a cabinet card. Both items are mounted side by side in a 16 by 13 modern metal frame. The letter is dated August 8th, 1879. On the back is a complete transcript of the letter, which mentions Mission Ridge and General Sickles.
