Panoramic two page centerfold depicts the famed charge that sealed Union victory at Ft. Donelson—“Storming of Ft. Donelson—Decisive Bayonet Charge of the Iowa Second Regiment on the Rebel Entrenchments at Fort Donelson, Saturday Evening, February 15, Resulting in the Capture of the Works on the Following Morning.” Plus a an illustration showing “The First Landing of the U.S. Troops in Tennessee, February 4, on the Banks of the Tennessee River, A Few Miles From Fort Henry.” As well as numerous maps.
