Plus dramatic, panoramic centerfold depicting “The Battle of Pittsburg Landing [Shiloh], April 7, 1862—Final and Victorious Charge of the Union Troops Under Major-General Grant”. Plus hilarious rear cover “bowling” cartoon of Commodore Foote v. General Beauregard.
Exhibits mounting dots and light chipping along left cover margin. Paper loss at lower left corner of front page – reflects at center of the remaining pages. Some minor tears along right edges of all pages; light soiling throughout. Solid April ’62 issue, with lots going on, in both eastern and western theaters of war.
