Horatio Seymour, Governor Elect of the State of New York.” Interior illustrations include full page illustrations of “General McClellan surrendering the Command of the army of the Potomac to General Burnside” and “The View From Maryland Heights at Sunrise.” Also a superb center piece double page collage of “General smith’s Division at Wild Cat…The Army of the Ohio On the March.” As well as a full depicting the “ United States Steamship “Vanderbilt” accompanied by biographical portrait sketches of the following Union officers: Rear Admiral David Porter, Brigadier General Thomas, Brigadier General Stanley, and Colonel Ingalls, Quartermaster General of the Army of the Potomac.
