Contains complete listing of the ships in the Union blockading fleet and commanders of ships deployed, and well as an interesting census of the city of Charleston—listing white , slave, and free colored.  48,409 in habitants, of which 17,655 were slaves and 3,785 free-colored.  Large slave sale advertisement on page 1. Editorially,-the paper believes that the Charleston and Savannah can hold out against impending attacks by the Union fleet. In protective sleeve w/ white card backing. [jp][ph:L]
