No. 502 Vol. XX. 16 pp. [113-128], 11.25” x 15.5, four columns, illustrations, cartoon. Front cover includes “End of the War” story along with two dramatic illustrations treating the capture of John Wilkes Booth— (bust portrait] “Sergeant Boston Corbett, The Man Who Shot John Wilkes Booth”—“The Killing of Booth, the Assassin—The Dying Murderer Draws From the Barn Where He Had Taken Refuge, On Garrett’s Farm, Near Port Royal, VA., April 26, 1865.”

Interior illustrations include a sketch of “Booth escaping on Horseback from the rear of the theater after the murder of the president. Also an utterly magnificent panoramic double page view of “Funeral Honors to President Lincoln—The Catafalque Passing Up Broadway, New York, April 25, 1865, In the Presence of Nearly A Million Spectators—(From a number of sketches taken at Different Points  by our Special Artists).
