Offered here from the collection of author/publisher Dean Thomas are two War of 1812-era newspapers.
First is The Weekly Messenger dated Boston, August 6, 1813. The first story being “Historical Sketch Of the War in the North of Europe.” Four full pages with details of “The War” (being the war with Britian here in American), the Thirteenth Congress, and more. Folded at center; good condition.
The second paper is the Boston Daily Advertiser of February 1, 1815. Almost all advertisements with a report from the treasury mixed in. Four pages, folded at center, foxed paper.
