Clipped signature reads “R. E. LEE” and meas. approx. 2.00 x 1.25 inches. Signature is in faint period ink but is readable. Woodcut of Lee in uniform is approx. 3.50 x 6.00 inches set in an oval above the signature.
The framed piece meas. approx. 9.00 x 14.00 inches and is housed in a modern frame of gold painted wood with a double mat of gray over gold.
