This is the Model 1949 FN Belgium manufactured bayonet for Egypt. The letters "F.N." stand for Fabrique Nationale.

Overall, the bayonet meas. approx. 15.00 inches long while the blade itself measures a bit over 8.50 inches. It is double edged with a Parkerized blue finish in excellent condition.
