This Model 1816 bayonet does not have a fuller showing that it is of early production.

The iron surface is dark with moderate surface pitting throughout. Socket has a bridged mortise and its interior has surface rust and needs cleaned.

Blade flat has part of an indistinct marking. [ad] [ph:L]
