This is a Model 1816 bayonet for .69 caliber muskets converted by H&P, Remington, or Maynard. The whole piece is in excellent condition being bright and clean. Nearly 21 inches long including the 3-inch socket.
Stamped on the flat of the blade is a “US”. A minty bayonet. [jet] [ph:L]
