This is a Model 1842 socket bayonet for .69 caliber muskets. Clean and mostly bright surface with just the slightest mottling on the underside. Tapered triangular blade and socket measure approximately 20.5” overall with a 2 5/8" socket. Good “US" marking on flat of blade. Complete with locking ring.
