Bayonet is in very good condition. The surfaces have a bright finish with a few widely scattered patches of darker age spots.
Measures approximately 18.75” overall. Gutter on upper surface of blade runs about 9” long. Nice, clean, flat unmarked flat top surface. Fine file marks overall.
Stamped “W. HAHN N.Y.” on right side of the elbow. William Hahn was a gunsmith and military supplier. Located at 224 11th Street, New York City. He was awarded a few small U.S. government contracts. [jet] [ph:L]
