The drawn bayonet meas. 27.00 inches from point to pommel.
Blade length is 21.75 inches with a 16.25 inch unstopped fuller. Ricasso is stamped B. R. WEYERSBERG. SOLINGEN. Blade surface is clean with light mottling. No pitting or rust is visible. Edge has scattered small nicks.
Iron guard has the muzzle ring and ball ended hook. Guard is stamped on one side with “32B. 907” and on the other “51038”. Grips are made of stippled black leather with an iron bird head pommel. Locking mechanism in the pommel works.
Leather scabbard is in good condition. Iron throat has a loop for attaching to the frog. Finial is also iron. The leather body shows some light wear from age but overall, it is in nice shape with a seam that is still holding tightly. [ad] [ph:L]
