The item is in very nice condition. Blade has no visible markings. Socket has notch and appears to be very clean. Small amounts of the blued finish has worn off the socket while the blade is bright with only very light scattered mottling. Tip of socket swivels properly.
Leather scabbard is excellent with brass tip. Leather frog for attaching to a belt is present with a circular brass “US” rosette. Side seams of the scabbard body are tight. Leather is in nice condition overall. [ad] [ph:L]
