The bayonet has a dark patina to its entire surface. The blade has very small scattered amounts of surface pitting and the flat has a worn “US” stamping.
Socket is a little brighter than the blade but shows more pinprick type pitting. Locking ring works properly.
Leather scabbard is complete and in good condition. Frog is of the 7-rivet variety. Body has a good seam and the brass finial is present. Leather does show some light scattered surface finish loss. [ad][ph:L]
