This is an original Model 1855 socket bayonet for .58 caliber Civil War era Springfield rifle muskets.  Measures approximately 21” overall.

This specimen features a smooth, clean, and bright mirror-like surface. No blemishes of any kind. Original, working locking ring and screw.  Completely unmarked.
