Overall the dagger meas. approx. 10.50 inches long. The blade itself meas. approx. 6.08 inches long. The blade is bright with light mottling and has a spear point. True edge is very good. Left side of the blade near the ricasso has a maker’s mark in three lines that reads “KORIUM / FORGED SOLINGEN STEEL / MADE IN GERMANY.” The base of the blade has a thin brown leather washer.

The handle is made of pot metal. It has an “S” shaped guard and a ribbed grip with a lion’s paw clutching an orb pommel. Each side of the grip has a very pronounced mold seam.

Brown leather scabbard has a white metal tiered finial and a leather frog that is marked on the reverse “MADE IN GERMANY.” Scabbard shows some light wear. The reverse of the scabbard has a surface cut approx. 1.00 inch long but this is minor.  [ad] [ph:m]
